The 2011 Supreme Court Christmas ornament features a winter scene outside the Supreme Court building with a man holding a black canopied umbrella.
The tree branches forming a canopy over the facade of the Supreme Court Building are lightly covered in snow and the ornament features 2 “feet” so is able to free stand without being hung from anything. Broadly speaking, the decisions of a supreme court are not subject to further review by any other court: this is the case with the US Supreme Court as it takes precedence over all State Supreme Courts.
